Description

You will own backend and internal systems end-to-end: run discovery with stakeholders, produce structured specifications (including scope, acceptance criteria, and Definition of Done), manage backlog priorities, and verify that delivered outcomes solve the original production problem. You will define how success is measured and confirm impact with data, maintain system documentation in Confluence, and communicate roadmap and change adoption to stakeholders. The role includes helping decide what to rebuild and in what order as the backend stack is decomposed and rebuilt using AI.

Responsibilities

• Discovery with stakeholders for assigned domains

• Create structured specifications that developers and AI agents can implement without “guessing”

• Manage domain backlog in Jira and prioritize by value, cost, and risk (and say “no” when needed)

• Collaborate with development: participate in planning/reviews and validate increments against the specification

• Decide build vs. buy and alternatives for integrations with external services, SaaS tools, and ERP/WMS

• Design safe migration/rollout/fallback and monitoring for critical processes to prevent order/shipping downtime

• Define success metrics and measure impact post-launch using data tools

• Keep decisions and system documentation up to date in Confluence

• Present roadmap and changes to stakeholders and support adoption in operations

Requirements

• Experience as Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Owner for an internal or B2B product

• Ability to drive requirements from stakeholders through development to production

• Ability to write precise specifications with acceptance criteria and Definition of Done

• Analytical mindset and experience using data to evaluate impact (SQL or BI is an advantage)

• Practical experience with AI tools during specification or development

• Working-level Czech and English
