Description

Build and maintain backend services using Python for key banking systems, focusing on high-quality, efficient, and readable code. You will design and document technical solutions, prepare and run unit tests, and collaborate closely with Business Analysts, IT Architects, technical teams, and business stakeholders. The role also includes mentoring less experienced developers and supporting code reviews and refactoring.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields

• Experience programming in Python

• Knowledge of FastAPI, Anaconda, Uvicorn, and Gunicorn

• Experience building and evolving microservices-based applications

• Comfort working in Linux/Unix and using scripting languages

• Good knowledge of integration technologies and standards: REST, SOAP, SQL

• Ability to use Jira and Confluence

• Read and work with English technical documentation

• Independent, responsible working style with a strong focus on code quality

• Systematic, engaged, well-organized approach; strong problem-solving mindset

• Good teamwork and knowledge sharing; clear communication of ideas and decisions

• Experience with code review and refactoring using Git, Gerrit, or similar tools (advantage)
