Description

Build and ship end-to-end features for a sports-training platform, owning database/security and delivering a polished UI. You’ll work in a modern TypeScript codebase using Next.js 16 (App Router, Server Components, Server Actions) and React 19, with Supabase (Postgres + RLS) and Clerk-based authentication/role management. The role is hands-on and product-focused, with AI coding tools used daily to accelerate development.

Responsibilities

• Build full-stack features end-to-end using TypeScript, Next.js 16 (App Router, Server Components, Server Actions), and React 19

• Design Postgres schemas in Supabase and secure them with Row-Level Security policies, migrations, and generated types

• Implement auth and role-based access via Clerk (organizations, roles, permissions) integrated with Supabase RLS

• Create mobile-first screens for athletes and data-dense console screens for coaches with Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui

• Keep domain logic in clean, testable services; write unit and integration tests using local Supabase

• Deploy to Vercel and maintain infrastructure with Terraform

• Monitor and triage production issues with Sentry

• Use AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code) daily to speed up delivery while reviewing critically

• Collaborate with product/design and participate in code reviews; for senior level, own features from idea to production and document architecture decisions

Requirements

• 3+ years commercial experience

• Strong TypeScript and JavaScript fundamentals

• Hands-on React and Next.js (App Router) experience, including the server/client component boundary

• Solid SQL and PostgreSQL fundamentals: schema design, indexes, migrations

• Experience implementing authentication and authorization in web apps

• Understanding of Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), and code quality tools (ESLint, Prettier)

• Comfortable working with automated tests and code reviews

• Regular use of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code) and ability to review AI-generated code critically

• Understands the “why” behind features, cares about UX (especially mobile), and communicates well in English
