Description

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you’ll join a cross-functional team to engineer next-generation experiences powered by AI agents. You will develop TypeScript services on AWS, design safe and observable agent behavior, and evaluate LLM features before release. The role also includes infrastructure ownership with Terraform, CI/CD improvements, and building resilient integrations and internal tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build production AI agents with TypeScript services on AWS (Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Bedrock) using Strands or LangGraph and AI SDKs
• Design agent behavior: define what the model investigates vs. what code enforces
• Sandbox agents with read-only runtimes, scoped tool access, contained reads, and budget/timeout guards
• Evaluate AI features using golden sets and production replays; calibrate judges and gate changes on recall, precision, and false-positive rate
• Ensure observability with reason-coded metrics and structured logs; alert on failures and investigate misses in Splunk and VictoriaMetrics
• Run infrastructure: maintain Terraform roots across environments and improve GitLab CI/CD for build, test, deploy, and quality gates
• Build integrations resilient to retries, rate limits, permanent failures, and stale state
• Use AI to write/review code and keep agent context current
• Review AI-written changes for security, correctness, and maintainability
• Enable teams by configuring assistants, skills, hooks, and MCP servers
• Build agent-facing tools with React and APIs for summaries, dashboards, and internal tooling
• Document systems with architecture/sequence diagrams, runbooks, and decision records

Requirements

• Broad full-stack versatility with an emphasis on adaptability across modern software stacks and architectures
• Strong production experience with React and TypeScript, including Node.js, async patterns, testing, and monorepo tooling
• Working proficiency with Python for backend services, evaluations, analysis, and automation
• Practical AWS experience across the ecosystem beyond serverless (Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Bedrock; plus containers like ECS/EKS, networking, compute, and IAM)
• Production experience shipping features using LLM APIs (prompts, tool calling, structured output, long context) and the ability to explain evaluation and release gating
• AI-champion mindset using AI-assisted engineering tools in daily workflows
• Ability to read and safely modify Terraform configurations across environments
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL and SQL databases, including schema changes and live-system migrations
• Observability design skills for non-deterministic systems and strong production debugging from metrics/logs
• CI/CD proficiency, ideally GitLab CI/CD
• Fluent written and spoken English and ability to communicate trade-offs clearly
