Description

Lead design and development efforts for scalable software solutions, leveraging Java to build microservices and RESTful APIs in an AWS cloud environment. Ensure code quality with testing practices such as TDD/BDD, oversee CI/CD and deployments, and support migration of legacy systems and databases. Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable software solutions

• Develop microservices and RESTful APIs

• Maintain code quality through TDD or BDD

• Oversee CI/CD processes and ensure efficient deployment

• Assist in migrating legacy systems and databases

• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members in Agile

Requirements

• Advanced English proficiency

• Strong proficiency in Java

• Experience with AWS

• Proficiency in SQL Server and database migration

• Familiarity with Cockroach DB

• Strong design pattern skills

• Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS, Azure Service Bus)

• Experience developing microservices

• Experience with RESTful API design

• Strong focus on code quality and testing standards

• Proven CI/CD experience

• Experience working in Agile teams
