Description

You will design, build, and evolve Java backend applications and REST API interfaces for a telecom products catalog project. The role focuses on API development and security, integrations with data sources and external systems, and deployment in a Kubernetes environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and develop backend applications in Java 21+ using Spring Boot/Spring
• Design and implement REST APIs and business logic
• Create and maintain API documentation in OpenAPI/Swagger
• Integrate applications with databases and external systems
• Implement API security mechanisms, data validation, and error handling
• Create unit and integration tests
• Participate in code reviews, performance optimization, and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, and the DevOps team on Kubernetes solutions and deployments

Requirements

• Practical backend development experience with Java and knowledge of Java 21+
• Very good knowledge of Spring Boot/Spring, including Spring Security
• Experience designing and creating REST APIs
• Knowledge of OpenAPI/Swagger
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Knowledge of Git and Maven
• Knowledge of OAuth2/OIDC and JWT
• Experience creating automated tests (e.g., JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers)
• Knowledge of Docker/containerization and deploying/diagnosing applications in Kubernetes
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with technical teams
• Ability to use AI tools during application design, development, and testing
