Description

Lead end-to-end delivery of complex initiatives with a focus on software security, DevSecOps, and Security-by-Design practices. Bridge business objectives and technical execution while managing agile delivery, architectural risks, and technical debt in a Google Cloud Platform and open source ecosystem. Support teams through code reviews, troubleshooting, production incident guidance, and metrics-driven continuous improvement (including DORA).

Responsibilities

• Bridge business objectives and technical execution to ensure successful initiative delivery.

• Identify and proactively address architectural risks, technical debt, and delivery challenges.

• Champion DevSecOps best practices across the software delivery lifecycle to embed security, compliance, and automation.

• Manage sprint execution, remove technical blockers, and help balance feature delivery with platform stability.

• Collaborate with Backend, Frontend, SRE, and business stakeholders to drive alignment and delivery excellence.

• Conduct code reviews, support troubleshooting, and provide guidance during production incidents.

• Participate in infrastructure and platform discussions, including Terraform, cloud infrastructure, and operational excellence.

• Drive adoption of open source technologies and help select solutions to replace proprietary vendor platforms.

• Use engineering metrics and data-driven decision-making, including DORA metrics, to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience.

• Hands-on experience in at least two of: Java, Python, Node.js, Go.

• Strong Google Cloud Platform knowledge: GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL), and Identity-Aware Proxy (IAP).

• Proven experience leading cross-functional engineering teams in Agile (Scrum, Kanban, Agile).

• Strong stakeholder and dependency management.

• Practical DevSecOps and Security-by-Design experience.

• Experience with: Secret Management (KMS), Container Security, Compliance-as-Code, and secure software delivery practices.

• Knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Ability to use DORA metrics and engineering KPIs for continuous improvement.
