Description

We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support two projects during an initial six-month period, with the possibility of extension. You will monitor system health and performance, automate deployment and operational processes, and improve reliability by collaborating with development teams. The role requires strong hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps automation across Azure and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system health and performance to proactively identify and address potential issues

• Design and implement automated solutions to streamline deployment and operational processes

• Collaborate with development teams to improve system reliability, scalability, and performance

• Participate in incident response, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures

• Build and maintain infrastructure that supports high availability and fault tolerance

• Continuously improve operational workflows and engineering practices

• Support planning and execution of system upgrades and migrations

• Create and maintain documentation covering infrastructure, processes, and operational procedures

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives

• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure timely response to production issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (or related) or equivalent practical experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Cloud or DevOps roles

• Experience supporting DevOps tooling and process automation alongside cloud infrastructure management

• Strong expertise deploying and supporting Azure and AWS services (solid Azure experience considered essential)

• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation purposes

• Strong hands-on experience with bash scripting

• Expertise in Kubernetes, including AKS and EKS

• Strong working knowledge of Docker

• Hands-on expertise implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform

• Practical experience working with GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows

• Solid understanding of Agile methodology, particularly Scrum

• Experience working within Linux environments (filesystems, modern memory management, threads and processes, user/kernel-space divide)

• Solid understanding of microservice-based architecture

• Strong application security and information security knowledge (CSSLP certification preferable)

• Good practical understanding of large-scale distributed systems, multi-tier architectures, monitoring, and storage systems

• Advantage: experience with data science platforms/tools and monitoring/logging platforms

• Broad hands-on experience with open-source technologies

• Fluent English communication skills at B1 level or higher
