Description

You will lead the architecture of exclusive, end-to-end Salesforce B2C Commerce solutions, acting as the bridge between executive business vision and technical excellence. The role focuses entirely on SFCC: translating needs from CDOs/CTOs and e-commerce leaders into scalable, secure, high-performing architectures, and guiding best practices rather than simply gathering requirements. You will define development guidelines, oversee integrations, and ensure teams follow approved patterns and platform constraints.

Responsibilities

• Lead workshops and presentations with CDOs, CTOs, and e-commerce directors; adapt technical language for business stakeholders

• Use active listening to align technology with the distinct heritage and brand identity of each Maison

• Act as a consulting partner for Salesforce Commerce Cloud best practices; proactively propose solutions

• Manage expectations, mitigate risks, and align group technology priorities with each brand’s needs

• Architect end-to-end SFCC solutions for global traffic and retail peak seasons with maximum scalability, security, and performance

• Define development guidelines for SFRA, SiteGenesis (legacy), and modern headless/composable scenarios supported by Salesforce

• Design integration flows between SFCC and third-party systems such as OMS, ERP, PIM, CRM, and payment gateways

• Oversee development teams and system integrators to ensure adherence to design patterns, code quality, and governor limits

Requirements

• 7+ years in the IT industry, including 5+ years as a Solution Architect on Salesforce Commerce Cloud projects

• Strong knowledge of SFRA, ISML, and Demandware Script

• Expertise in Business Manager and Salesforce APIs (OCAPI, SCAPI)

• Proven experience delivering e-commerce projects in the Fashion, Retail, or Luxury sectors

• Ability to adapt communication style and handle high-pressure situations with diplomacy, tact, and empathy

• Talent for simplifying complex technical concepts for non-technical decision-makers

• Ability to inspire technical teams and work effectively with system integrators, creative agencies, and internal stakeholders

• Advanced English proficiency (C1+)
