Description

Design and deliver scalable, high-performing marketing solutions in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Architect end-to-end technical implementations for multi-channel campaigns, interactive experiences, and real-time integrations between SFMC and enterprise data platforms, while setting development standards and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute end-to-end SFMC technical solutions with scalability, security, and best-practice alignment

• Build complex multi-channel campaigns using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Email Studio

• Develop campaign assets and interactive experiences using MobileConnect and CloudPages

• Write AMPscript, SSJS, and SQL for personalized dynamic content and data processing

• Create HTML/CSS templates for dynamic, responsive content delivery

• Configure and maintain Marketing Cloud Connect (MCC), custom REST/SOAP API integrations, and Webhooks for real-time data sync

• Architect data extensions for seamless data flow across systems

• Optimize SQL query performance, maintain schemas and data hygiene, and manage system limits (API limits, data extension optimization)

• Establish development standards and conduct code reviews

• Document technical workflows and architectural decisions

• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, including 3+ years dedicated to Salesforce Marketing Cloud

• Deep proficiency in AMPscript, SSJS, and SQL

• Advanced experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript

• Advanced experience with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and CloudPages

• Qualifications in Data Designer, Contact Builder, and Email Studio

• Familiarity with Mobile Studio

• Proven experience with Marketing Cloud Connect and API-driven integrations using SFMC REST and SOAP APIs

• Strong understanding of relational data modeling, data extensions, and SQL optimization

• Capability to manage large-scale data imports and exports

• English proficiency at B2 or higher
