Description

Kick-start innovation in banking technology by developing scalable, secure, high-performing microservices. You will design and build distributed microservices, define and maintain technical quality standards, and ensure reliable performance through unit testing and automated quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality applications/systems according to requirements and standards

• Collaborate in an Agile product team to design and build distributed microservices

• Define and maintain technical quality standards across platforms

• Produce efficient, maintainable code aligned with business needs and technical dependencies

• Perform thorough unit testing for performance and reliability

• Challenge and improve code/design quality to uphold industry standards

• Contribute to automation test coverage and quality assurance processes

• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders

• Promote innovative technologies and mentor colleagues

Requirements

• 5+ years senior experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Kubernetes

• Practical cloud experience, especially AWS

• CI/CD knowledge with GitHub, Jira, Jenkins, Maven, and Groovy

• Strong API design standards knowledge: Swagger, OpenAPI 3.0, REST, JSON, microservices architecture

• OAuth 2.0 authentication/authorization experience and Kong API Gateway

• Agile testing experience, particularly TDD, with Agile/Scrum development

• Ability to translate functional requirements from business stakeholders into technical solutions

• Strong problem-solving skills focused on innovative, scalable solutions

• Existing legal right to work in Europe

• Communicative English proficiency
