Description

You will embed with engineering and business teams to identify high-value opportunities and build production-grade AI applications that solve operational problems. The role is highly hands-on: you own projects from discovery through deployment, prototype rapidly, and then scale successful ideas into reliable systems. You will build and operate solutions such as agents, workflow automations, retrieval systems, and internal AI assistants delivered through a plugin marketplace.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering and business teams to understand workflows and find where AI can create measurable value

• Prototype AI-powered solutions with teams, collect feedback, and iterate

• Design, build, deploy, and operate production-grade AI applications (agents, workflow automations, retrieval systems, internal tools)

• Build role-specific AI assistants distributed through an internal plugin marketplace

• Deliver AI solutions across the full lifecycle: discovery, experimentation, deployment, continuous improvement

• Ensure solutions are reliable, observable, secure, and cost-effective

• Collaborate with platform engineers to leverage and improve shared AI infrastructure

• Share learnings and reusable patterns; mentor teammates via code reviews and technical discussions

Requirements

• Experience building and shipping production AI applications using modern LLMs (agents, RAG, workflow automation, structured generation, LLM evaluation)

• Strong software engineering skills for designing and operating production systems

• Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into practical software solutions

• Product mindset focused on measurable user and business impact

• Ability to prototype quickly and know when to invest in scalability, reliability, and maintainability

• Experience with managed AI platforms (AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Vertex AI)

• Strong programming skills in Python (or another modern language)

• Excellent communication and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
