Description

You will develop Developer Experience as a modern internal product layer between Platform Engineering and development teams.

You’ll build self-service tools, automation, documentation, portals, templates, and workflows that help developers deliver faster, safer, and more independently. You will also co-create practical, secure standards for AI-assisted engineering in day-to-day engineering work.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve developer self-service tools

• Turn platform engineering solutions into simple, consistent, ready-to-use internal products

• Create recommended work paths for common developer scenarios

• Develop a developer portal, service catalog, templates, documentation, and integrations

• Design automation, generators, workflows, and engineering support tools

• Co-create AI-assisted engineering standards: usage rules, prompt templates/instructions, and safe processes for code, documentation, and operations

• Support developer teams in adopting new tools and standards

• Collaborate closely with Platform Engineering, SRE, Security, and product teams

• Apply a product approach to internal tools (discover needs, use feedback, iterate, and ensure real adoption)

Requirements

• Experience building an internal platform product for many developer teams (Platform Engineer, DevEx/Ops Engineer, or similar)

• Experience building tools, automation, or self-service solutions for developer teams

• Programming experience for internal tools/integrations/automation (e.g., Python, TypeScript, Node.js, Go, or similar)

• Strong understanding of cloud environments, especially AWS

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, deployments, and observability

• Ability to design simple, useful abstractions for developers

• Product approach for internal tools (users, feedback, rollout, iterative value delivery)

• Practical experience with AI-assisted engineering or intentional AI usage in engineering work

• Excellent technical communication and ability to create clear documentation

• Experience working with multiple technical teams

• English for fluent technical communication
