Description

You will lead IT/software projects end-to-end, with responsibility across business, organizational, and financial areas. The role focuses on managing scope, budget, schedule, risks, and change requests while translating client requirements into delivery plans with technical teams. You will also develop long-term client relationships and look for opportunities for additional projects.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage IT projects for international clients, primarily from the German market

• Build and maintain long-term client relationships; act as the main project contact

• Manage budgets, schedules, scope, and financial delivery efficiency

• Define business and technical requirements and map them to deliverable work packages

• Run customer meetings and workshops to clarify needs and propose solutions with technical teams

• Coordinate delivery, monitor progress, identify risks, and ensure timely delivery

• Collaborate with Team Leads and developers on planning, estimation, and execution

• Manage scope changes via change requests, assessing impact on budget, schedule, and resources

• Support bid preparation, estimates, and contract conditions for new projects

• Identify opportunities to expand cooperation with clients and propose new initiatives

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of IT project management experience for custom software projects

• Experience from a software company / software house or an organization delivering tech projects to external clients

• German C1 or higher for independent meetings, negotiations, and ongoing client collaboration

• Strong English proficiency

• Experience independently running projects with responsibility for budget, schedule, scope, and delivery outcomes

• Ability to build business relationships and discuss needs, scope, timelines, and costs with clients

• Good knowledge of SDLC and experience working with technical teams

• Practical experience collecting and analyzing business and technical requirements

• Knowledge of Agile project methods (Scrum or Kanban)

• Ability to make decisions, solve problems, and manage expectations

• Proactive and accountable approach with strong communication skills

• Willingness to travel to Germany for business
