Description

Delivery Managers lead end-to-end delivery for their teams while staying close to engineering details down to code. You own delivery planning, staffing, delivery process and environment (tools, CI/CD, ways of working), delivery governance, and data-driven metrics across the SDLC. You also lead the shift to AI-driven delivery by integrating AI into how teams build software and by hands-on building AI agents/skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery: scope, timelines, quality and customer outcomes
• Own staffing and team composition; define needed roles/skills and assess candidates
• Set up/take over delivery environment (technical tooling and process/ceremonies)
• Plan and estimate effort; schedule delivery and track milestones; support budgets
• Establish team-level delivery governance: reviews, health checks, reporting and escalation
• Drive data-driven delivery by defining and tracking SDLC metrics and steering improvements
• Identify, assess, and mitigate scope/schedule/budget/resource risks; run risk reviews
• Solve complex project problems focused on customer value
• Make architecture decisions within team scope and translate architecture into implementation plans
• Dive deep into code-level problem areas and support technical resolution
• Design the CI/CD process and remove pipeline inefficiencies
• Design quality processes across SDLC (standards, reviews, static/dynamic analysis, refactoring, testing)
• Choose and tailor delivery methodology (Scrum, Kanban, or others)
• Drive adoption of AI-powered SDLC and measure impact
• Build AI agents and skills to automate workflows and improve efficiency
• Evaluate and select GenAI tools/platforms and communicate benefits to stakeholders
• Contribute to AI-based solution delivery and GenAI offerings in client/presales
• Lead direct communication with client stakeholders on technical and delivery topics
• Learn the client domain/processes and align team ways of working
• Lead by example: coach, feedback, performance management, and build inclusive learning culture
• Support presales with estimations, architecture reviews, and documentation

Requirements

• 5+ years in IT with strong software engineering background
• 2+ years as Lead Developer, Team Lead, or Delivery Lead
• Track record managing delivery for teams of 5+ FTEs
• Ability to read, understand, and design full-stack architecture and solutions
• Advanced, hands-on CI/CD experience including designing pipelines and optimizing them
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure)
• Advanced code quality practice (code review, static analysis, coding standards)
• Hands-on experience driving AI-assisted SDLC adoption
• Hands-on experience building AI agents and skills (e.g., via LLM APIs and agent frameworks)
• Solid project management (scope, estimation, planning, risk, quality, change management)
• Hands-on experience setting delivery metrics across all SDLC stages tailored to engagement model
• Experience establishing team-level delivery governance (cadences, reviews, reporting, escalation)
• Practical Agile framework experience (Scrum, Kanban) and ability to tailor methodology
• Testing fundamentals knowledge (test levels/types/activities)
• Direct client communication skills for technical topics and conflict resolution
• People leadership experience (coaching, feedback, performance management, interviewing)
• English B2 or higher
