Description

Drive engineering excellence and uplift engineering practices across software, data, operations, and infrastructure teams. Partner with engineering and people teams to strengthen communities of practice, embed best-in-class standards, and support hiring and talent initiatives. Measure capability improvement and transformation progress using data and insights.

Responsibilities

• Drive engineering capability and talent development initiatives across multiple technology functions

• Assess skills gaps with engineering leaders and define capability uplift strategies

• Design and enhance training programmes with HR and Learning & Development teams

• Support engineering career frameworks, progression models, and learning pathways

• Improve engineering hiring quality through workforce planning and assessment frameworks

• Help shape graduate, early careers, and leadership development programmes

• Use data and insights to track capability improvement and transformation progress

• Contribute to engineering communities and culture and engagement initiatives

• Influence senior stakeholders and promote best practice across engineering organizations

Requirements

• Engineering mindset with exposure to multiple technology stacks and experience in at least one discipline

• Experience delivering organizational, engineering, or technology transformation programmes

• Background working within engineering, technology, software, infrastructure, or digital organizations

• Experience supporting learning, capability, talent, workforce, or people-focused initiatives across a wider engineering community

• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills

• Ability to coordinate activities across multiple teams and business areas

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
