Description

Lead frontend engineering within a product-focused tribe: set technical direction, structure complex requirements, and guide teams toward secure, maintainable, and scalable solutions. Ensure cross-team frontend standards and architecture best practices through code reviews and quality controls, while improving delivery processes with your CI/CD experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical point of contact for frontend engineering in the tribe and support development teams, product engineers, and stakeholders
• Review and assess technical approaches for feasibility, quality, maintainability, and scalability; identify risks and dependencies early
• Drive consistent adoption of frontend standards, architecture guidelines, and best practices across teams
• Accompany development through technical alignment, code reviews, and quality checks; support technical acceptance and ongoing QA measures
• Analyze defects and quality problems, determine root causes, and lead improvements for long-term benefits
• Improve delivery and release processes by challenging existing workflows and using CI/CD knowledge to combine quality and efficiency
• Maintain awareness of technical quality requirements, security, and IT risks; think about security from the start and collaborate closely with teams

Requirements

• Multiple years of experience as a Frontend Developer in an enterprise environment
• Strong knowledge of modern web architectures and frontend technologies: Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS
• Ideally a degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics (or equivalent qualification)
• Experience in technical support and quality assurance for software development projects
• Solid software engineering principles with testing, CI/CD, and technical quality standards
• Ability to analyze complex technical problems and evaluate solution options by quality, maintainability, scalability, and technical risk
• Experience working with multiple development teams and stakeholders and aligning differing interests into technical solutions
• Clear communication skills and ability to moderate technical discussions
• Analytical, solution-oriented, independent working style and ability to provide technical guidance to others
• Fluent German and English (spoken and written)
