• Role: Software Engineer / Tech Lead (Solution Engineer mindset)

Description

You will help define and design new IT solutions end-to-end—from analyzing client needs and building solution concepts and high-level architecture to selecting technologies and assessing feasibility. You’ll collaborate with clients, developers, and technology experts, translate business goals into implementable solutions, and support teams during project kick-off (including PoCs and concept materials). This role is a natural next step for senior developers/tech leads who increasingly take part in architecture, estimation, and defining solution direction.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical needs and help define new IT initiatives

• Create high-level solution concepts and architecture

• Select technologies, platforms, and products suited to project/client requirements

• Collaborate with development teams and technology experts to prepare project execution assumptions

• Prepare inputs for estimation and evaluate feasibility of proposed solutions

• Participate in workshops, meetings, and consultations for defining new technological initiatives

• Support technology decision-making through analysis of available solutions and market trends

• Validate new technologies, products, and architectural approaches for project applicability

• Support preparation of prototypes, PoCs, and conceptual materials for new solutions

• Hand off concepts and assumptions to delivery teams and support them at project start

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical experience in software development (e.g., Senior Developer, Tech Lead, Solution Architect); at least 2 years involving solution design, technology selection, estimation, or analysis of new initiatives

• Hands-on experience participating directly in designing, building, or deploying IT solutions

• Experience designing solutions, defining high-level architecture, and/or selecting technologies

• Experience delivering projects in the Microsoft ecosystem

• Experience with estimation, feasibility analysis, or project planning

• Knowledge of modern technologies, platforms, and approaches used to build IT solutions

• Broad understanding of system architecture across cloud, integrations, security, DevOps, and AI

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Experience collaborating with clients and business stakeholders or project teams to define new solutions

• Very good communication skills, including running workshops, analytical discussions, and presenting solutions

• Practical knowledge of the software development lifecycle

• Interest in new technologies, products, and market trends

• English level B2+ for client communication and technical documentation
