Description

Join an agile, well-resourced team to build the next generation of social casino and gameplay experiences. You’ll deliver features end-to-end, implementing frontend functionality with JavaScript across iOS, Android, and Web, and building PHP backend services and RESTful APIs. You will monitor production performance and iterate based on player behavior and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end features for social and gameplay systems
• Own features from concept through release and monitoring
• Implement frontend functionality in JavaScript for iOS, Android, and Web
• Create backend services and APIs in PHP for gameplay, social, and LiveOps
• Build scalable RESTful APIs consumed by client applications
• Contribute to data modeling and persistence for progression, rewards, and events
• Improve backend efficiency to support high concurrency and large player populations
• Ensure features are reliable, testable, and production-ready
• Assess and optimize frontend and backend performance for a fluid player experience
• Partner with Product to scope technical solutions and make pragmatic tradeoffs
• Monitor post-launch performance and iterate based on metrics
• Translate creative concepts into engaging, scalable systems
• Improve architecture, tooling, and delivery practices

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience with JavaScript in production environments
• Experience building backend services in a live environment
• Experience crafting and consuming RESTful APIs
• Understanding of client-server architecture
• Experience contributing to features through the full development lifecycle
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a player-first approach
