Description

You will design and build Go backend components and software agents for a new generation Remote Service platform. A key part of the work is Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) implemented with OpenZiti, enabling secure edge-to-backend communication without exposing public endpoints. Development spans backend microservices, REST APIs, data flows and models, cloud infrastructure, and end-to-end testing—plus monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize backend components and agents in Go
• Design and implement secure remote access capabilities for industrial devices
• Build Zero Trust network architecture using OpenZiti
• Work with Microsoft Azure, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Terraform
• Collaborate on system architecture, REST API, data flows, and data models
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues; optimize performance and reliability
• Develop monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing support
• Create unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews; maintain code quality
• Collaborate with developers on continuous platform improvement

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of commercial Go (Golang) development experience for backend services or agents
• Strong networking knowledge and secure network communication expertise
• Experience with secure remote access and mesh networking solutions (e.g., OpenZiti, OpenVPN, Tailscale)
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture, PKI, and device authentication/authorization
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Infrastructure as Code experience, especially Terraform
• Experience operating production systems with monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing
• Ability to write clear, efficient, and maintainable code
• Experience with unit and integration testing and participating in code reviews
• Independence, proactive communication, and teamwork in a small Agile environment
