Description

Work on a modern digital insurance platform covering the full insurance lifecycle, with reusable APIs and seamless integrations across web, mobile, and partner ecosystems. Build .NET 8 microservices using clean architecture, implement Temporal workflow orchestration and rules evaluation integrations, and develop platform capabilities with proper security and observability. Contribute to API contracts and shared libraries and ensure quality with unit and integration tests.

Responsibilities

• Design and build .NET 8 microservices using FastEndpoints and clean architecture (Domain/Application/Infrastructure/API layers).
• Implement Temporal workflow orchestration with typed workflow and activity interfaces, cross-task-queue dispatch, and signal/query patterns.
• Build rules evaluation integrations with the GoRules ZEN engine (GoRules.Zen NuGet, Rust FFI in-process).
• Develop platform capabilities such as config registry, rules API, workflow gateway, and payment/policy adapters.
• Implement cross-cutting concerns including Managed Identity service-to-service authentication, Cerbos authorization, and structured logging via Serilog/Anotar.
• Write and maintain xUnit tests using FakeItEasy and Shouldly; run integration tests against real dependencies (no mock DB).
• Collaborate with platform and domain teams on API contracts, OpenAPI specs, and shared NuGet libraries.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience with C# / .NET
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET 8
• Experience designing and developing microservices
• Strong understanding of Clean Architecture, SOLID, and layered architecture
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and asynchronous processing
• Experience with system design, transactions, concurrency, idempotency, and error handling
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure
• Experience with FastEndpoints
• Strong experience with Entity Framework Core
• Experience writing unit and integration tests
• Experience with Docker and containerized development
• Ability to independently and quickly learn new technologies and libraries
• Willingness to study project-specific libraries before the technical interview
• Intermediate+ English
