Description

Lead systemization and innovation for next-generation Radio Access Network products, driving baseband algorithms for physical layer and radio resource management. Design, optimize, and validate L1 and RRM algorithms, perform link- and network-level studies, and develop software simulations/tools to evaluate designs and guide decisions. Contribute to 5G/6G standards, provide technical direction, and support product KPIs and industry alignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead systemization for next-generation RAN products: define system requirements, drive feature development, and align technical roadmaps.
• Design, optimize, and validate physical layer (L1) and radio resource management (RRM) algorithms (digital signal processing, MIMO, beamforming).
• Run advanced link-level and network-level system studies to improve wireless performance and efficiency for 5G/6G.
• Develop and refine link- and network-level software simulations and evaluation tools.
• Collaborate with global engineering, product, and standards teams to integrate systems and deliver high-impact features.
• Influence 5G/6G standards, represent technical direction in forums, and mentor teammates.
• Deliver systemization artifacts such as requirements and architectures to accelerate product delivery.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in wireless systems engineering focused on 5G/6G and RAN systemization, with demonstrated technical direction and strategic alignment.
• Deep expertise in communications theory and digital signal processing, including MIMO and beamforming.
• Strong simulation experience and tools for link- and network-level evaluation.
• Analytical and innovation-driven mindset with a record of delivering system-level improvements tied to product KPIs.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentorship; ability to work across cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Proficiency in one or more of Java, MATLAB, C/C++, and Python.
• MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a closely related discipline.
