Description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java backend applications using Java 17+ and Spring Boot/Spring Framework. Build and improve BPM workflows and process automation, develop and integrate RESTful APIs, and ensure quality through automated test suites. Deploy and troubleshoot services on AWS and support CI/CD and production operations while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications in Java 17+ and Spring Boot/Spring Framework

• Develop and enhance Business Process Management (BPM) workflows and process automation

• Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with internal/external systems

• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications on AWS (EC2, S3, related services)

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins; manage source code with GitHub

• Monitor application health, performance, and logs using Datadog and Elasticsearch

• Develop and maintain automation test suites for quality and reliability

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software

• Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards, secure coding practices, and engineering best practices

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• 2+ years of backend development with Java 17+ and Spring Boot/Spring Framework

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software engineering principles

• Experience with Git and GitHub and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

• Hands-on automation testing experience (e.g., JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, Karate)

• Knowledge of API and integration testing with automated test suites

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment

• Passion for learning new technologies and contributing to engineering best practices

• Proficiency in Polish and English
