Description

You will develop a client zone used by tens of thousands of users across Europe, working on a new risk-management tool that calculates credit limits and manages collateral evidence. The role centers on Java 17+ backend development with Spring Boot microservices, from implementation through testing, deployment, and operations. You’ll work with a small team in an agile setup with regular ceremonies and code-quality expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java 17+ Spring Boot microservices from requirements to deployment and production operation
• Implement REST and SOAP API integrations
• Build data persistence using JPA/Hibernate and relational databases
• Support event-driven communication with Apache Kafka
• Create and maintain automated tests (JUnit/Mockito, optionally Testcontainers)
• Participate in agile ceremonies (refinement, daily stand-up, review, retrospective)

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial development experience
• Proficiency in Java 17+ and Spring Boot
• Knowledge of JPA and Hibernate
• Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Practice with REST and SOAP API design/integration
• Experience with Apache Kafka
• Experience with automated testing (JUnit, Mockito, optionally Testcontainers)
• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Team collaboration skills
• Communicative English and Czech
