Description

Develop and enhance backend applications that support financial services and cross-border payments. You will design technical solutions end-to-end (from analysis through production), build Java/Spring Boot services, and implement integration interfaces and APIs. The role includes database/SQL optimization, automated testing, code reviews, and active use of AI tools in daily development.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and improve existing applications

• Design technical solutions from analysis to production deployment

• Build backend services in Java and Spring Boot

• Design and implement integration interfaces and APIs

• Design and optimize database structures and SQL queries

• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

• Implement automated testing and continuously improve code quality

• Reduce technical debt and modernize applications

• Collaborate on incident and operational issue resolution

• Share know-how and mentor less experienced colleagues

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Java development

• Excellent Spring Boot skills

• Experience with database design and SQL

• Understanding of API design and integration scenarios

• Architectural thinking and long-term solution maintainability

• Takes responsibility and delivers solutions to completion

• Comfortable sharing experience and supporting the team’s common goals

• Views modern AI tools as a natural part of a developer’s work and wants to actively use them

• Willing to learn new technologies and share knowledge
