Description

You will manage operational security excellence across AWS data centers, driving security awareness, customer support workflows, and physical security effectiveness. The role includes handling chat/phone communications, generating and managing trouble tickets, configuring security devices (cameras, readers, panels), and supporting daily campus security operations. You will use hard data and metrics to identify improvements and translate overarching security strategy into daily tactics.

Responsibilities

• Manage a chat queue and phone communications

• Generate and/or manage trouble tickets; handle incoming chats and provide customer support

• Drive security awareness campaigns to increase security vigilance and effectiveness

• Use workflow ticketing and develop/extract performance metrics

• Configure physical security devices including cameras, readers, and panels

• Support daily operational security across a data center campus

• Distill overarching security strategy into daily tactics aligned with management goals

Requirements

• 2+ years of process improvement procedures experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of overseeing security operations and working with security vendors/contractors
