Description

Lead a physical security technology team to design, implement, and maintain physical security systems that protect facilities, assets, and people. Own the strategy and roadmaps for access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and perimeter security, while providing technical guidance for system architecture and multi-facility integrations. Drive incident response, continuous improvement, and compliance with regulations and internal policies.

Responsibilities

• Build, mentor, and manage a team of security-focused hardware engineers
• Define and execute roadmaps for physical security systems
• Provide technical guidance on security system architecture, integration, and deployment
• Collaborate with other teams to integrate physical security technology
• Evaluate and manage relationships with physical security vendors and integrators
• Ensure systems meet regulations, industry standards, and internal policies
• Lead response to physical security incidents and drive continuous improvement
• Stay current with emerging physical security technologies and introduce innovative solutions

Additional Notes

Base salary range: $151,000–$204,300 (USA, VA, Herndon). Final compensation depends on experience, qualifications, and location.
