Description

You will operate and improve the endpoint environment with a focus on Windows clients as well as smartphones and tablets.

The role includes administering endpoint/client management systems (primarily MECM/SCCM, with a future focus on Intune/co-management), supporting software package and device configuration updates, and assisting with patch management, endpoint security, and compliance.

You will also support mobile device management, analyze more complex incidents, and help with endpoint lifecycle management, documentation, and straightforward automations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and develop the endpoint environment for Windows clients, smartphones, and tablets

• Administer and maintain client-management systems such as MECM/SCCM and, in the future, Intune and co-management

• Support the deployment, maintenance, and updates of software packages, client applications, and endpoint device configurations

• Assist with patch management, endpoint security, and compliance requirements, including remediation of security-relevant vulnerabilities

• Manage mobile devices through the implemented Mobile Device Management and support 2nd-level analysis of complex disruptions

• Support endpoint lifecycle management, technical documentation, standardization, and simple automations

• Coordinate with internal IT departments, business areas, and external service providers

Requirements

• Successfully completed IT training or equivalent qualification

• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Group Policy, client configuration, and MECM/SCCM (or comparable client-management systems)

• Hands-on experience with patch management, client troubleshooting, 2nd-level support, and Mobile Device Management

• Basic understanding of endpoint security, compliance, vulnerability management, plus PowerShell (or comparable scripting)

• Preferred: knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, co-management, and experience with MDM solutions and Microsoft 365 Apps

• German and English proficiency (spoken and written)
