Description

Lead a centralized metrics and decision-science function for Microsoft Security, owning the strategy, roadmap, and operating model for executive scorecards and insights. Manage and develop a team of full-stack product managers to define trusted measures, consolidate fragmented data sources and reporting processes, and deliver AI- and automation-driven decision-ready analytics. Partner across teams to strengthen data foundations, governance, adoption, and measurable impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop full-stack product managers covering core business, operational, people, AI, and product metrics.

• Set vision, strategy, roadmap, and priorities for the centralized metrics function, focusing investment on the measures, data foundations, and insights with the greatest decision value.

• Establish an end-to-end operating model for metrics—from decision needs and accountable ownership through data onboarding, quality, governance, adoption, and continuous improvement.

• Partner across Finance, engineering, data, product, operations, and HR to standardize definitions and consolidate fragmented data sources, platforms, dashboards, and reporting processes.

• Own the direction and operating model for executive scorecards and insights/visualization experiences, ensuring they are trusted, coherent, and fit for their audiences.

• Apply AI and automation across the metrics lifecycle; measure impact and communicate complex metric issues and tradeoffs clearly to senior leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development (or equivalent).

• 1+ year people management experience.

• Ability to meet security screening requirements (Microsoft Cloud Background Check) and pass required background checks upon hire/transfer and every two years.
