Description

You will plan, implement, and maintain security measures for IT systems and networks, including vulnerability assessment and incident interventions. The position also delivers end-to-end application security across the software value chain (creation, delivery, and maintenance) using security platforms and tools aligned with current security standards. You will train and support security champions in software development and advise business areas on technical and organizational cybersecurity measures per applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and maintain security measures for IT systems and networks
• Assess security vulnerabilities, develop solutions and policies, and act during security incidents
• Implement end-to-end application security across the software lifecycle using security platforms/tools and current security standards
• Train and support Security Champions in software development (OWASP SAMM)
• Contribute to security concepts, offers, policies, risk analyses, processes, templates, and guidelines
• Advise and support colleagues on implementing technical and organizational cybersecurity measures aligned with ISO/IEC 27001, NIS2, CRA and other requirements
• Exchange knowledge and further develop cybersecurity with local and international peers

Requirements

• Completed degree in Cybersecurity/IT security or equivalent qualifications/experience
• At least 5 years of cybersecurity experience
• Working knowledge of BSI standards and BSI IT-Grundschutz (including the compendium)
• Practical, hands-on experience with SAST, SCA, and IAST
• Experience with security tools such as Falcon (or similar), ideally also Arnica and Sysdig
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines
• Multi-year application development experience and comfort with microservice architectures
• Sound knowledge of legal/regulatory requirements from ISO/IEC 27000 / BSI §8a, NIS2, CRA, BSI, B3S and related frameworks
• Experience in consulting and implementing technical and organizational security measures
• Expertise in security processes, SOC concepts, and securing OT/IoT systems
• Strong communication with management and specialist departments; English proficiency in speech and writing
