Description

You will administer, operate, and continuously improve a Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure, including central file, print, and application servers. You will manage and develop Active Directory (users, groups, and permissions), integrate and administer Microsoft Azure/Azure AD in the existing environment, and implement system hardening and backup/recovery strategies. You will troubleshoot Windows Server environment issues and support infrastructure and cloud projects while documenting and continuously improving the system landscape.

Responsibilities

• Administer, operate, and continuously develop Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure
• Manage and operate central file, print, and application servers
• Manage and develop Active Directory, including user, group, and permission management
• Integrate and administer Microsoft Azure in the existing infrastructure
• Plan and implement system hardening measures to improve IT security
• Design, monitor, and optimize backup and recovery strategies
• Analyze and resolve Windows Server environment outages and performance issues
• Participate in planning and implementing infrastructure and cloud projects
• Document and continuously develop the system landscape

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in administering Windows Server environments
• Very good knowledge of Active Directory administration
• Experience operating file, print, and application servers
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Azure AD, ideally already used productively
• Experience with common backup and recovery solutions
• Good knowledge of IT security and system hardening
• Independent, structured, solution-oriented working style with high ownership and reliability
• Clear, professional communication and teamwork
• Good German skills in speech and writing
