Description

You will help prepare and administer international research project proposals and manage key financial processes for EU-funded projects, with an emphasis on Horizon Europe. The work includes coordinating proposal preparation (budgets and personnel capacity planning), supporting financial management and reporting, communicating with consortium partners and EU bodies, and preparing audit and eligibility-check documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on preparation of project applications for Horizon Europe (RIA/IA/CSA, MSCA, etc.), especially coordination of application preparation, budget preparation, and planning of personnel capacities and costs
• Support administration and financial management of international research projects, including budget preparation, monitoring drawdown, and ongoing financial reporting
• Communicate with partners in international consortia and with implementation bodies (European Commission, national contact points, etc.), working with the Funding & Tenders Portal
• Prepare materials for controls and audits of EU-funded projects, including Horizon Europe, covering eligibility of costs and documentation

Requirements

• University degree
• Experience in project and/or financial management of EU-funded projects
• Experience with Horizon Europe or H2020 is a strong advantage
• Knowledge of eligibility rules for costs in projects funded by the European Commission (personnel costs, travel costs, procurement, overheads)
• Orientation in economic aspects of preparing and solving R&D/VaVaI projects, including basic accounting and project budgeting principles for EU-funded projects
• Knowledge of project management
• Active knowledge of English
