Quick Facts

  • Role: Systems IT Analyst

  • Focus: translating requirements into system solutions, impact analysis, and service/API interaction design

Description

You will analyze requirements and break them into clear parts that development and testing teams can start working on. You will assess change impacts across applications, data, interfaces, and processes, and design how systems communicate through services and APIs. You will also prepare documentation and UML models in Confluence and PlantUML, supporting the work from proposal through deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Translate requirements into concrete solutions

  • Decompose overall analysis into smaller, understandable pieces and prepare assignments for developers and testers

  • Verify which applications, data, interfaces, and connected processes are affected by changes

  • Design service and API logic, including how systems pass information

  • Create clear documentation and UML diagrams (daily) for Confluence and PlantUML; assignments are tracked in Jira

  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, testers, and architects throughout the change lifecycle (from design to deployment)

  • Independently propose smaller solutions; develop larger topics together with an architect

  • Support system stability so results work correctly for clients

Requirements

  • Ability to handle incomplete requirements by researching missing information, asking follow-up questions, and structuring the solution

  • Ability to clearly explain and defend proposed solutions to business analysts, developers, testers, and architects while incorporating feedback

  • Think in terms of balance between delivery speed, quality, long-term maintainability, performance, and error handling

  • Ability to understand a connected system landscape and foresee impacts of proposed changes

  • Strong SQL skills to independently navigate relational databases and validate required data

  • Daily work with UML using Confluence and PlantUML

  • Basic orientation in REST and SOAP services, JSON, XML, XSD, and API documentation (plus a plus: familiarity with application logs or simpler parts of code)

  • Interest in learning the banking environment (knowledge of banking products and processes is helpful, but not required)

Benefits

  • 30 days off and 3 days for volunteering (25 vacation days + 5 days for anything + 3 days for volunteering/activities)

  • After 5 years: additional 20 days of paid leave

  • Flexibility: occasional in-office meetings, with the option to work from home by agreement

  • Premium health care from Canadian Medical after the probation period

  • Pension savings and meal voucher contributions (2,000 CZK per month)

  • Company events and team-building activities

  • Employee discounts and benefits (e.g., Alza, Datart, O2)
