Description

You will manage a group of System and Software Development Engineers that create software solutions aligning data center global operations capabilities with unique customer requirements. You will drive team software development roadmaps and lead prioritization and design, owning the product lifecycle from design and development through quality reviews and deployment. You will also ensure operational excellence through continuous improvement, visibility, and standardization, while contributing hands-on technically.

Responsibilities

• Manage the design and development of new software solutions (code reviews, testing, deployment, and post-launch monitoring)
• Lead team efforts to define and enforce organizational standards for operational excellence and resiliency
• Develop, communicate, and maintain project roadmaps
• Collaborate with internal partners and stakeholders to understand needs and operate existing systems at high quality
• Dive into technical issues and contribute directly to drive delivery of products and software solutions
• Mentor, coach, and grow engineers; train on best practices to improve effectiveness and operational excellence

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
• 3+ years engineering team management experience
• 8+ years leading definition and development of multi-tier web services
• 4+ years technical leadership and project management across the software development lifecycle
• 1+ years developing large-scale, multi-tier distributed software systems using Java, C#, or C++
• 5+ years Software Engineer/Software Developer or related experience
• Current, active US Government security clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above
