Description

Design, build, test, and support well-defined features in cloud services, data pipelines, or platform tooling that power scalable security capabilities. Gain hands-on experience with distributed systems, secure development, and live-site operations, strengthening engineering judgment through feedback and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement well-defined components of cloud services and platform tooling with guidance from experienced engineers
• Build data-processing pipelines and service integrations to enable reliable processing and exchange of security data across products and customer scenarios
• Collaborate with product managers, security researchers, and partner engineers to understand requirements, test ideas, and move insights into production
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code using secure development practices with attention to error handling, data correctness, privacy, and tenant isolation
• Use telemetry and debugging tools to investigate production issues and improve reliability, performance, and resource efficiency
• Participate in design and code reviews; communicate progress and blockers; improve workflows through feedback and automation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related technical discipline) with proven coding experience in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, and/or Python; OR equivalent experience
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
• Required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
