Description

You will develop the IT Governance Operating Model together with the CIO, leadership team, and business departments. The role includes designing and operationalizing governance and control mechanisms using KPIs, quality standards, and governance requirements to strengthen digital resilience and DORA compliance. You will translate regulatory requirements into practical processes and ensure their sustainable integration into IT operations, while aligning governance roles and responsibilities across IT, business, and control functions.

Responsibilities

• Evolve the Governance Operating Model with CIO, leadership, and business units; establish effective steering and control mechanisms
• Shape the build-out, operationalization, and continuous improvement of governance requirements via KPIs, quality standards, and governance directives; support digital resilience and DORA compliance
• Convert regulatory requirements into practical processes, controls, and governance measures, and embed them sustainably into IT operations
• Coordinate collaboration between IT, business, and control functions; create shared understanding of roles, responsibilities, and governance requirements, including in projects

Requirements

• Completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Business Administration, or comparable IT-focused qualification
• Ideally initial professional experience in organization and IT projects, especially process management and governance in regulated environments (e.g., financial services, insurance, or KRITIS)
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as DORA, VAIT, ISO 27001, COBIT, or comparable frameworks is beneficial
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams; strong communication, analytical thinking, and structured working style
• Understanding of governance as an enabler for stable, secure, and high-performing IT processes
