Description

You will develop and operationalize the IT governance operating model together with the CIO, the leadership team, and specialist departments—establishing effective steering and control mechanisms. You will design and continuously improve governance requirements using KPIs and quality standards to strengthen digital resilience and support DORA compliance. You will translate regulatory requirements into practical processes and controls, and ensure sustainable embedding into IT operations while aligning roles and responsibilities across IT, Business, and control functions.

Responsibilities

• Co-develop the Governance Operating Model with CIO, leadership, and business areas; establish steering and control mechanisms

• Design, operationalize, and continuously evolve governance requirements using KPIs, quality standards, and governance guidance

• Translate regulatory requirements into usable processes, controls, and governance measures; ensure sustainable anchoring in IT operations

• Coordinate collaboration between IT, Business, and control functions to align on roles, responsibilities, and governance needs, including within projects

Requirements

• Completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable IT-focused qualification

• Preferably first professional experience in organizational and IT projects, especially in process management and governance in regulated environments (financial services, insurance, KRITIS)

• Advantage: knowledge of regulatory requirements such as DORA, VAIT, ISO 27001, COBIT, or similar frameworks

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams; analytical thinking and structured working style

• Understanding of governance as an enabler for stable, secure, and high-performing IT processes
