Description

Develop and prototype new user interface and interaction models across Tesla’s product portfolio, including in-car and mobile experiences. Use UI design expertise and software engineering to build high-fidelity prototypes, test design ideas, and influence software and hardware decisions for upcoming features. Collaborate with designers and software engineers to ensure consistent design language and design integrity from concept to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-fidelity prototypes for new UI and interaction models using UI design and software engineering knowledge
• Create and make decisions that implement a consistent design language across the Tesla UI platform (in-car, mobile, etc.)
• Drive UI design projects from concept through implementation
• Liaise between designers and software engineers to provide feedback and maintain design integrity

Requirements

• Deep experience in interaction prototyping for different form factors and interfaces
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks such as JavaScript/HTML/CSS and modern web frameworks
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite

Expected Compensation

$159,600 - $239,400 annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
