Description

You will apply a deep understanding of model capabilities to guide prompt engineering and prototyping strategies for consistently high-quality, context-aware, personalized model outputs. You will initiate qualitative assessments of model performance and use the eval process to drive continuous quality improvements for personalization across the app. You will partner with AI product designers to deliver cohesive multimodal experiences and define system instructions and user controls for context, preferences, and memory.

Responsibilities

• Guide prompt engineering and prototyping strategies based on model capabilities
• Conduct qualitative assessments of model performance and improve personalization via continuous “quality hillclimbing”
• Partner with AI product designers to craft multimodal solutions where model responses and UI components work together
• Develop system instructions for intuitive UX patterns and user controls for context, preferences, and memory
• Stay current on design trends and technologies in consumer technology, generative AI, and natural language processing; use insights to innovate

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Linguistics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 6+ years of experience in conversation design and content design, including designing for conversational AI/LLMs or adaptive, personalized systems
