Description

You will combine sourcing activities with production coordination and basic project management to bring new products to market. Own the process from receiving requirements from the product team to finished goods arriving in their boxes and ready for stock. You’ll work with suppliers in China to ensure everyone knows what needs to be done, by when, and under agreed commercial terms.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers through daily communication and regular meetings
• Coordinate and continuously manage production for assigned products together with suppliers
• Monitor production deadlines and product quality; resolve issues quickly and find workable solutions
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to secure the best collaboration conditions
• Coordinate new product launch steps from initial requirements through completion
• Collaborate with the team on expedition so goods move smoothly from production to shipment/stock

Requirements

• Experience in a production environment and understanding of production processes and partner communication
• Ability to communicate in English daily with foreign suppliers
• Basic knowledge of logistics concepts and the link between production and shipping/expedition
• Supplier mindset: treat suppliers as business partners and build long-term, functional relationships
• Independent working style with strong follow-through and issue ownership
• Effective organization, prioritization, and deadline tracking in parallel workstreams
