Description

You will independently administer and continuously improve the Microsoft 365 tenant, including monitoring, capacity management, and automation/standardized configurations. You will manage identities, access, and licenses with Entra ID (including MFA and Conditional Access) and implement security, compliance, and data protection requirements. You will handle service requests, incidents, problems, and changes, and work on optimization projects for the M365 platform.

Responsibilities

• Administer and further develop the M365 tenant (monitoring, capacity management, automation, standardization)

• Manage identities, access, and licenses with Entra ID (MFA, Conditional Access) and implement security/compliance/data protection requirements

• Administer Exchange Online and on-premises, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams

• Process service requests, incidents, problems, and changes; analyze disruptions and resolve them sustainably

• Contribute to M365 platform optimization projects and coordinate external IT service providers

Requirements

• Completed IT degree or training as an IT specialist for system integration

• At least 3 years of practical experience in M365 administration, 2nd-level support, and incident/change management

• Very good Microsoft 365 knowledge, especially Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and Security/Compliance

• Good German and English skills

• Willingness to take on on-call duties outside regular working hours (nights, weekends, public holidays)
