Description

You will operate and continuously improve a modern workplace environment built on Microsoft 365, Mobile Device Management, Endpoint Management, and hybrid identity/infrastructure concepts. The role includes administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, driving standardization and automation (especially with PowerShell), and ensuring reliable operations through monitoring, patching, and security/support processes.

Responsibilities

• Technical ownership of operating and further developing the modern workplace environment
• Administer Microsoft 365 and Entra ID in hybrid infrastructure and identity environments to ensure a secure, reliable, future-ready platform
• Analyze existing processes, evolve standards, and automate recurring tasks (notably with PowerShell)
• Own monitoring, patch management, and security and operational processes to keep services running smoothly
• Document systems and changes; establish clear operational handovers and manage support/escalation cases with internal stakeholders and external providers
• Support employees in using Microsoft 365 securely and efficiently; advise and contribute to IT projects

Requirements

• Several years of experience as an administrator
• Solid experience operating and developing digital workplace or IT infrastructure environments
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Mobile Device Management, and Endpoint Management
• Knowledge of hybrid infrastructure and identity environments
• Experience with standardization, automation, and PowerShell
• Experience with monitoring, patch management, documentation, operational handovers, and security/support processes
• Structured and reliable working style with a continuous-improvement mindset
• Service- and operations-oriented mindset and confident communication with different stakeholders
• Driver’s license class B; willingness for occasional travel to other sites
• Very good German and good English skills
