Description

Manage and administer IT infrastructure including PC and zero-client workplaces, Microsoft Active Directory, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 resources. Support and further develop LAN/WLAN/WAN networking and maintain server, storage, and virtualization environments to ensure high system availability. Contribute to IT projects, documentation, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement of IT security.

Responsibilities

• Install and administer PC and zero-client workstations
• Administer Microsoft Active Directory, Entra ID, and O365 resources
• Administer and further develop network infrastructure (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
• Operate and support server, storage, and virtualization environments; ensure high system availability
• Ensure and further develop IT security
• Hardware/software inventory and lifecycle management
• Create and maintain technical documentation for the IT infrastructure
• Support IT projects and introduce new technologies and systems

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration (m/w/d), ideally with relevant work experience
• Willingness to participate in on-call duty
• Communication skills and analytical thinking
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and client operating systems
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Entra ID, and cloud services
• Knowledge of virtualization environments
• Knowledge of IT security and permissions/access management
• Experience operating Active Directory environments
• Experience troubleshooting complex IT systems
• Experience with backup and storage solutions
• Network and operating system knowledge
• German and English language skills
• Teamwork, independent and structured working style, and strong sense of responsibility
