Description

You will strategically develop and operate SAP HCM modules (PA and PY), conceiving, implementing, and optimizing complex SAP HCM system landscapes and transforming them toward hybrid or cloud-based architectures such as SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central. The role includes designing and improving end-to-end HR processes, establishing governance and quality standards, and using modern reporting/analytics tools for HR controlling while ensuring legal compliance—especially data protection (DSGVO).

Responsibilities

  • Develop SAP HCM strategically and operate SAP HCM modules PA (personnel administration) and PY (payroll)

  • Concept, implement, and optimize complex SAP HCM system landscapes

  • Transform SAP HCM to hybrid/cloud architectures (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central)

  • Design and optimize end-to-end HR processes and build governance and quality standards

  • Lead and steer large-scale HR-IT projects with high budget and resource responsibility

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure efficient and legally compliant HR processes

  • Apply modern reporting and analytics tools to support HR controlling

  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements, especially data protection (DSGVO)

Requirements

  • Degree in (business) informatics or business administration (Diploma/Bachelor/Master)

  • Multi-year practical experience in conception, implementation, and further development of SAP HCM systems in an HR-IT environment or BPO consulting (PA, organizational management, payroll, time management)

  • Sound knowledge of transforming SAP HCM landscapes to hybrid or cloud architectures (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central)

  • Practice in end-to-end HR process design and optimization, including building governance/quality standards

  • Demonstrable expertise in project and program management (ideally with PMI/PMP, IPMA, and/or agile methods) and experience with tools such as JIRA or MS Project

  • Multi-year experience leading at least three complex HR-IT large projects with high budget and resource responsibility

  • Knowledge of modern reporting and analytics tools (SAP BI or SAP Analytics Cloud) and strong understanding of legal frameworks, especially GDPR/DSGVO

  • Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
