Description

Lead the IT Strategy & Portfolio Management team to connect IT and business through digital services. You will own the IT strategy process aligned with company strategy, steer the cross-enterprise IT portfolio, and continuously validate and adjust it based on strategic target achievement. The role also includes people leadership and close collaboration with business stakeholders to orchestrate requirements toward clear objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead 10 employees technically and disciplinarily; develop and effectively network the team
• Own the IT strategy process and align it with the company strategy
• Reflect the organization’s business model regarding technological innovations and expand strategic partnership with business areas
• Understand business unit needs end-to-end and ensure objective-oriented orchestration of requirements
• Steer the overarching IT portfolio and continuously check and adjust it for strategic goal attainment
• Foster transparent, efficient, and trusting collaboration with other IT units and business departments

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration with an IT focus, or equivalent qualification
• Multi-year leadership experience in strategic IT or IT strategy
• Strategic thinking, technical know-how, team spirit, and strong communication skills
• Ability to convincingly lead employees and work groups, drive results through initiative and motivation
• Holistic understanding of customer needs; ability to develop pragmatic solutions, think in value streams, and implement synergies
• Ability to build networks and pursue goals as an inspiring partner
