Description

You will lead an interdisciplinary project team responsible for setting up manufacturing lines and necessary infrastructure for rocket artillery systems. The position covers ownership of project goals from initiation through realization to series production, including detailed coordination with product project leads, site stakeholders, internal interfaces, and an international workshare partner. You will also support the program and sales organization during offer phases and for customer questions.

Responsibilities

• Lead an interdisciplinary project team and ensure the setup of multiple production lines and the required infrastructure at different defense locations

• Own project targets from initialization through realization to series production

• Handle detailed coordination with product project managers, site managers, internal interfaces, and the international workshare partner

• Manage project planning, execution, and progress monitoring; conduct risk, resource, and budget planning for on-time and cost-compliant production line setup and customer order execution

• Support the program and sales organization during offer phases and customer inquiries with technical expertise

Requirements

• Completed technical degree in engineering or business engineering (or comparable qualification)

• Multi-year experience in project management, ideally in the defense/armaments industry

• Project management professional training (IPMA Level D) is desirable

• Very good technical understanding, knowledge of rocket artillery, and basic economic knowledge

• Confident use of MS Office, including MS Project

• Negotiation-level English

• Unrestricted domestic and international travel readiness

• Communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to enforce decisions

• Comfortable with cross-functional project work and adherence to processes
