Description

Partner with valuable enterprise healthcare customers to design AWS-based cloud architectures that are scalable, flexible, and resilient. Lead in-depth technical discussions, articulate the business value of AWS, and help customers migrate existing workloads to AWS. Educate customers through trainings and share best practices across the AWS solutions architecture community.

Responsibilities

• Ensure success in building and migrating applications, software, and services on AWS
• Formulate and execute customer strategy in partnership with account teams
• Participate in deep architectural discussions and educate customers on AWS value
• Run one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the solutions architect community
• Author or contribute to AWS customer-facing publications (e.g., whitepapers)
• Build relationships with senior technical stakeholders to enable cloud advocacy
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support

Requirements

• 8+ years of technology domain experience (software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructures
• 10+ years of IT development or software/Internet implementation or consulting
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience (preferred)
• Experience working with end-user or developer communities (preferred)
• 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructures (preferred)
• 3+ years of software development or architecture experience in the healthcare industry (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of healthcare privacy regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA and HITRUST (preferred)
