Description

Design, develop, and optimize enterprise AWS cloud architecture with a focus on scalability, security, governance, and cost efficiency. Evaluate architecture and solution concepts for new and existing systems and derive sustainable cloud solutions. Provide third-level support for complex AWS issues and help expand and evolve the hybrid cloud landscape, including the Azure environment.

Responsibilities

• Conception, development, and optimization of AWS cloud architecture
• Assess architecture and solution concepts and produce sustainable cloud solutions
• Support business areas during introduction of new applications to ensure alignment with cloud standards and best practices
• Evolve cloud governance by establishing standards, processes, and architecture principles
• Own partial projects and projects and coordinate internal and external service providers
• Analyze and resolve complex problems in AWS as part of third-level support
• Support further development of the Azure environment as hybrid cloud capabilities expand

Requirements

• Completed training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics, or comparable education
• Enthusiasm for IT topics and cloud architectures; ability to bring ideas into a new environment
• Knowledge of Amazon AWS, particularly in architecture, governance, and services
• Experience with complex (hybrid) enterprise IT infrastructures; ideally also with Microsoft Azure
• Experience with SAP in AWS and AWS certifications are advantageous
• Experience managing external service providers
• Fluent German and strong English skills (verbal and written)
