Description

You will ensure stable and reliable operations of database infrastructures, while administering, monitoring, and optimizing database systems in line with defined quality and service targets. You will support planning, development, and implementation of new database solutions, and handle technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis. The role includes contributing to IT infrastructure cost planning and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Completed IT education (e.g., Fachinformatiker) or comparable qualification; alternatively a relevant degree
• Several years of IT experience, ideally in database administration and operations
• Knowledge of common database systems such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL
• Experience with installation and configuration, and backup and recovery processes (advantageous)
• Structured, independent working approach and good communication skills
• Fluent German and good English skills
