Description

Support company healthcare software solutions and help operate customer systems, on-premise and virtual. You will run and maintain server infrastructure, manage databases, and take responsibility for middleware and Kubernetes environments. You will also contribute to documentation of processes, configurations, and support cases according to internal standards.

Responsibilities

• Support company software solutions for the healthcare sector (remote and on customer site)
• Commission products on customer systems (on-premise and virtual)
• Maintain and further develop server infrastructure based on RedHat, CentOS, and VMware, including databases
• Administer middleware systems (including Wildfly, Hadoop) and manage Kubernetes environments with Kubermatic
• Document relevant processes, configurations, and support cases per internal standards
• Support and further develop internal infrastructure and systems in data center operations

Requirements

• Completed university degree or comparable IT training in the IT field
• Solid technical support knowledge, ideally 1st- and 2nd-level support for complex IT systems
• Experience administering databases (Sybase, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
• Good knowledge of Linux servers (RedHat, CentOS) and handling virtualization (VMware)
• Experience with middleware and container technologies such as Wildfly, Hadoop, Kubernetes, Kubermatic
• Independent and structured working style with a high level of customer and service orientation
• Very good German skills (at least C1) in speaking and writing
